Red Meidiland® Rose, Rosa 'MEIneble' (PP7,116), is backed by small, dense leaves of glossy dark green. It produces clusters of single red roses (to 3" diameter) with white centers and yellow stamens in a continuous bloom from May to frost. Flowers have no fragrance. The blooms are borne in sprays of seven to fifteen. The end of the season brings a special attraction as orange-red fruit persists along bronze winter stems. Own root. Red Meidiland is a low-growing shrub rose with a creeping habit that is often grown as a ground cover. It typically grows with arching or cascading stems to 1.5 to 2 feet tall and spreads to 4 to 5 feet wide. Meidiland roses are landscape and ground cover roses that come from Meilland of France.
