The Crimson King Maple, 'Acer platanoides' 'Crimson King', is a red-leaved cultivar of the Norway Maple and it is noted for its rich maroon leaves throughout the summer. The Crimson King grows best in a well drained area and is very tolerant of drought and urban pollutants. It often used as a specimen tree for the landscape and it provides dense shade.The smooth bark, straight trunk, and strong branching, provide for nice winter interest. This tree is easily transplanted and is adapted to a wide variety of soils including alkaline, sand, clay and acid soils. Stronger branches stand up better to ice and wind. The New Bradford is covered with white flowers in spring, glossy green foliage for summer, then turning yellow to maroon for autumn. Lavender Twist Weeping Redbud (PP10328)

Description:
The Lavender Twist Weeping Redbud, 'Cercis canadensis "Covey", also known as Twisted Lavender Redbud, is a new variety of Redbud that is sure to attract the eye. The reddish-purple bud opens to a rosy lavender-pink flower in early spring. The umbrella shaped tree accentuates the weeping, twisted branches tipping towards the ground. They flower in early spring and bloom for 2 to 3 weeks. The shape of the fruit looks like a pea pod. The pods are 2-3” and are brown. The seed pods develop in October and usually stay on throughout the winter and adding winter interest. Leaves are heart shaped, when emerging in the spring are reddish-purple changing to a dark lustrous green in the summer and then to a yellow fall color. This tree is a great specimen plant and perfect for a small protected area in the landscape.

Oklahoma Redbud

The Oklahoma Redbud tree, Cercis reniformis, 'Oklahoma', has glossy green foliage. This redbud tree was discovered growing wild in the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma in 1964. This tree has clusters of tiny, wine-red, pea-like flowers that bloom profusely on the branches and mature trunks for 2-3 weeks in early spring (March-April) before the foliage emerges. Part shade is best in hot climates. Excellent small tree for lawns, woodland gardens or naturalized areas.
